Tai
Fung Bank Limited, formerly Tai Fung Money Changer, was founded
in 1942 by
Mr. Ho Yin and several business magnates from Macau and Hong Kong
|

| 1969 |
Tai Fung Money Changer was registered
as "Tai Fung Money Changer Limited".

| 1972 |
Tai Fung Money Changer Limited was
the first financial institution that applied to incorporated as a
bank under the Macau's Decree-Law of Banking in 1971. On 20 January,1972,
it was officially approved and became the first local bank in Macau
to operate under the name "Tai Fung Bank Limited" with
a registered capital of MOP 5 million.

| 1974 |
Tai Fung Bank Building, the Bank's
old headquarters situated at 296 Avenida Almeida Ribeiro, was put
into operation.

| 1984 |
In order to strengthen its capacity,
in September 1984, Bank of China, Beijing was invited to participate
as the Bank's shareholders , holding 50% of the then expanded capital
of MOP 160 million. |
| 1985-1999 |
The Bank's then Executive Director & General
Manager, Mr. Ho Hau Wah, was elected the chairman of the Macau Association
of Banks for five consecutive terms. |
| 1991 |
The Bank has increased
its capital several times and currently its paid up capital is MOP
1 billion, the largest among locally registered banks. The total
assets of the Bank are MOP 32.5 billion as at the end of 2006.

| 1997 |
The Bank moved its head office to
the new Headquarters at 418 Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpcao.

| 1999 |
On 15th May, the Bank's then Executive
Director & General
Manager, Mr. Ho Hau Wah, was elected the first Chief Executive of
Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

On 1st August, Mr. Long Rongshen
was appointed the Executive Director & General Manager of the
Bank. |
| 2007 |
On 1st July, Mr. Liu Daguo
was appointed the Executive Director & General Manager of the
Bank. Mr. Long Rongshen remained an Executive Director and appointed
Advisor of the Bank. |
