Introduction
Currency Linked Investment (CLI) is a structure product. The investor of a CLI is writing a put option in favour of TFB whereby the bank has the right to sell, and the investor has the obligation to buy the linked currency at a pre-set value. Investors enjoy both the deposit interest and the option premium paid in the form of additional interest at the maturity of CLI.

Minimum Transaction Amount
The minimum investment amount of a Currency Linked Investment is HKD100,000 or its equivalent.

Currency Pairs
Customers may select HKD and any one currency from AUD, NZD, EUR, GBP, CAD, JPY as the Currency Pair of the Currency Linked Investment.

Investment Tenor
Various tenors from 1-week to 6 month are available.
